PROJECT – BACKGROUND

As the leading manufacturer of custom windows and doors in North America, Dynamic is a company that was founded on the premise of Mass Customization, a production process combining the best elements of mass production efficiencies with design components adapted to meet a customer’s individual needs. With software uniquely designed and written in-house, and using flexible CAD-driven manufacturing processes, Dynamic has created a business model that provides customers with the perfect blend of a custom millwork shop with the efficiencies, quality control, and delivery disciplines and testing one would expect from a large mass production company.

PROJECT – CHALLENGES

The task given to Alianz was to identify, evaluate, and resolve any issues present within Dynamic’s business that stood in the way of maximum efficiency. Several of the challenges present included the following:

  • Lack of collaboration between several key areas, including:
    • Sales
    • Engineering
    • Production
    • Logistics
    • Finance
  • Long turnaround times within Sales Cycle causing lost opportunities
  • Considerable bottlenecks in Service and Case Processing
  • Lack of standard document layouts
